Current exhibition: „Field of Days - a Rooster and a Sunflower“ by Adéla Vávrová
paintings

Opening night on Monday, January 20th, at 6 PM. The exhibition is planned until February 22nd.

In this exhibition, Adéla Vávrová, known as Adelheid, presents her emerging art series Field of Days. The central motifs are two key figures – a rooster and a sunflower. Much like a field of sunflowers – each one unique yet part of a cohesive whole – this exhibition invites viewers to experience a series of individual visual "chapters" that together form a unified artistic narrative.

Abouth the author:
Adéla's creative journey is marked by her gradual exploration and study of various artistic movements, techniques, and art therapy, as well as by both ordinary and extraordinary experiences and visions. Her stories are increasingly shaped by memories of the English countryside, where she spent part of her life and continues to return there. Dreams and symbols have always been a significant part of her creative process, leading her to explore impermanence, strive to embrace it, and seek inner balance. She is also influenced by her favorite visual culture theorist, John Berger, whose perspectives contribute to shaping her artistic philosophy. In Adéla's work, the bold expressions of painter and sculptor Georg Baselitz resonate strongly, reflecting her affinity for profound and evocative artistic storytelling.

The curator of the exhibition is Zuzana Malina Černohousová.
The opening night will feature musical accompaniment by musician Jaroslav Diviš!

Upcoming exhibition: „Bubbles Happen“ by Petra Kubík Nandrážiová
abstract paintings

Opening night on Monday, February 24th, at 7 PM. The exhibition is planned until March 29th.

The author says: In the everyday simplicity of life, there are things that lift us up—morning sunlight, holding hands, a well-played game, a glass of good wine, art, a smile. And bubbles. These are life’s little bubbles, the moments that get us out of bed in the morning and make life feel light.
It may seem that the name Bubbles Happen refers only to the random Friday fizz in a glass and its pleasant journey to the mind, thoughts, mood, and company. But at the same time, each of us exists within our own bubble—whether it's work, friendships, or family—where we understand one another and can be our true selves. Even if that means being completely weird in our own unique way. And inside one such bubble, we can all be weird together. Because when we share the same bubble with others, we float through life together, knowing we are with the right people.
At the same time, each of us individually lives within the bubble of our own mind. Sure, we're not alone there—our experiences, surprises, frowns, pains, joys, and fears are with us. But they are ours alone; no one else has them in their head. And so, even if we and our friends might share an appreciation for abstraction, when we stand before a piece of art, each of us sees something entirely different.
The number of artworks at this stylish venue is not just nine (to be confirmed) but exponentially more, because the canvases were not only created in my studio—they come to life here, among people, through the way they are perceived. Through the bubble of one’s own mind, heart, and life. And that’s the beauty of it. So I warmly invite you all to pour yourself a glass of bubbles, immerse yourself in the artworks, and share the stories that each of you sees within them.
